Welcome to my MET Journey!
Welcome! This is my ePortfolio - a collection of reflections and artifacts documenting my journey through UBCs Educational Technology Graduate program over the last 2 years.
Purpose
The purpose of my ePortfolio is to act as a medium of reflection for my journey through the MET program and to act as a digital exhibit of my learning artifacts as a Educational Technology student, as well, it's place I will continue to reflect as the new chapter of my journey begins. This ePortfolio is my final capstone project for the course ETEC 590 - Graduating Project.

I am aware that many of you visiting this site may not be familiar with Educational Technology, so it is my hope that through my ePortfolio, you will not only learn more about me, but you will also learn more about educational technology, instructional design, education, learning theories, and more!

About Me
A little bit about myself, I currently reside in Calgary, Alberta and my educational background prior to MET was in Information Design. Information Design is the systematic process of translating complex and unstructured written and visual content to be clear and effective towards intended users. In many ways Information Design is similar to Educational Technology. In a way I view Educational Technology as a specialized field of Information Design. In my career to date, I have primarily had experience in post-secondary institutions, and I am looking forward to expanding my career further in instructional design and usability!
